Zumo helps launch SPACE – The Human Quest on a mission across the globe

We are deeply grateful for the wonderful opportunity to collaborate with the esteemed agency Pièce Montée on the captivating exhibition SPACE – The Human Quest where we proudly served as the primary provider of video content. Pièce Montée graciously recognized our diverse expertise in domains such as 3D animation, 3D modeling, motion graphics, simulations, and, most importantly, video editing, all intended for different kinds of media platforms and screens integrated within the exhibition. Armed with our skills, we played a vital role in adorning the exhibition, ensuring visitors were immersed in a truly unforgettable experience.

Embarking on a mesmerizing journey, visitors are engulfed in an extraordinary realm, surrounded by a captivating array of rare artifacts. From genuine relics that have voyaged through the depths of space to flawlessly crafted 1:1 replicas like the Lunar Lander and Space Shuttle, the exhibition transports guests into an otherworldly experience. Beyond reliving the awe-inspiring history of space exploration, visitors also delve into the present triumphs, challenges, and the tantalizing prospects of a future in space. After an awe-inspiring 7-month journey – even a month longer than first envisioned, due to its success – the edition flourished, warmly embracing the arrival of over 75,000 enthusiastic space visitors spanning all generations.

Through close collaboration with the agency, we carefully examined the provided spaces and different media platforms during the pre-production phase. Together, we formulated various content ideas with the goal of providing visitors with a unique and engaging experience. Our team worked diligently to bring this variety of content to life, going from basic video edits reinforced with motion graphics to animated 3D models being shown as interactive projections. As an example, visitors had the opportunity to witness the first moon landing from a unique perspective, presented as a 3D model and animation projected behind a real-life set-up of the moon surface and the moonlander model.

Throughout the entire production process, meticulous attention was paid to maintaining a cohesive style that seamlessly integrated with the overall graphical aesthetic of the exhibition.

Embarking on a project of such grand proportions, both production and post-production encountered their fair share of unforeseen challenges. Our team skillfully navigated the intricate dance of managing multiple content types and an immense load of content, delicately balancing every aspect. Recognizing the weighty significance and information-rich nature of the exhibition, we held precision as our guiding star. In the context of an exhibition of this nature and size, there was simply no margin for error. With unwavering commitment, we dedicated ourselves to ensuring that every facet of the exhibition surpassed the highest standards of accuracy and quality.

Through our collaborative efforts with Pièce Montée, we sincerely believe that we have crafted an experience that captivates and immerses visitors, leaving an indelible impression.
